1-2 year plan on the NIS struggle
Dear all:
I met some of the people in Bhubaneswar spearheading the protest on NIS.
Based on our discussions, and the premise that we may have to
continue our struggle for a year or 2, following is part of our action plan.
1. In Orissa get the movement beyond Bhubaneswar with respect to
every district of Orissa. The next one is scheduled to be in Baripada and
Agamee Orissa has plans for other districts. The goal would be to have at least
1-2 protest events every month.
2. We would like protest events in all state capitals of Orissa. The idea
is that a group of Oriyas will give a memorandum to the Governor of that state
(who is the representative of the central govt in that state) and copies to the local
media and perhaps make a donation to a local organization.
3. We would like similar protest events in all cities in the world which has an Indian
consulate. The idea is that a group of Oriyas will give a memorandum to the consul general
Agamee Odisha has the plan for the things inside Orissa. For 2 and 3 above, if someone
is willing to take a leadership role, please post your willingness in
