Student wing of SP demands IIT in Orissa: The Pioneer
Hundreds of activists of the Samajabadi Chatra Sabha , the State unit of the of Samajabadi Party on Monday sat on a dharna demanding the establishment of an Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) in the model of IIT, Kharagpur.
The president of Chatra Sabha maheswar Das urged the state Government to ensure education and employment for all in the State. The president of the Samajbadi Party State unit Baisnav Parida addressing the gathering said the Government should take initiatives in the establishment of the IIT and National Institute of Sciences with a view to promote science and technical education in the State.
