Supriti's report from Bhubaneswar
In the 4th Dec. meeting Mr. XYZ (a non-congress MP who is firmly behind this protest) suggested the same thing that we were discussing earlier. He resented the reaction of some people against the Congress on the NIS issue in some of these e-forums. He was of the view that the intellectuals should be above their bias towards any political party and they should go taking all these groups along with them . This is particularly important as the party is in power at the centre. This is a feeling of some of the Oriya MPs and we think we should be careful about that. We are planning for the Delhi convention on 16th Dec. with cooperation from Dharmendra Pradhan and Archana Nayak.

The other thing I missed out is, the 4th Dec. meeting was covered by Sambada, Pragativadi and Samaya. On 4th Dec., Otv also showed the NISas their first news items in 'Pratidin' showing pictures of the 45 page document and other documents which Santosh had carried to the Bishesh Drusti. Besides, it showed the interviews of CPM and Congress party members besides that of Santosh and Narendra Mishra, Ex-ViceChancellor of Utkal Univ. of Culture on the issue.
